GORILLAS / WHATEVER LONDON WANTS
Gorillas entered London’s crowded grocery delivery scene in 2021, competing with brands like Getir and UberEats. But with fresher food and deeper customer insights, they had an edge.
We used a year’s worth of bizarre but true order data (like one guy’s 32 Peanut Butter KitKats and a bottle of Pinot Noir) to create a cheeky campaign full of innuendo and fun.
The work featured local london talent like Mr. Bingo, Hak Baker, Mia Wells, Little Simz, and a VO by rapper Sam Wise. It paid off: brand awareness shot up 1000%, and Gorillas became London’s #1 delivery service.

Localized ads showed up in neighbourhoods all over london, sharing their unique ordering preferences.
Oh, and we managed to be named one of campaign magazine’s top 10 press ads of 2022 by calling out politicians in the ‘partygate’ scandal.
